9.The Vikings, where did it all go wrong? The Minnesota Vikings, a new stadium, a promising QB, one of the best running backs ever and one of the most dynamic defences in the league. They could’ve gone all the way this year. That what they thought, so even when Teddy Bridgewater was injured in preseason and out for the regular season, they bought in another decent QB in Sam Bradford, they looked at the world and said bring it on. So the world did. The Vikings started well being the last undefeated team in the NFL, even with the great Adrian Peterson was injured in week two. It didn’t seem to be a problem. They were flying high. Then the bye week came along in week six. (they were 5-0 at this point) it looked like the bye week had killed the team’s momentum. The mighty Vikes lost the next four. The team fizzled out to a 8-8 record and missed out on the playoffs, being the first team to start 5-0 and not go to the playoffs twice (2003, if you were wondering). There is no need to worry Vikings fans, the future does look bright for the purple and gold.
