First and Ten Mega League 4 in support of Myeloma UK – Enter now!

This year we are asking all our entrants to make an optional donation to Myeloma UK. A charity that is very close to our hearts here at First and Ten. You can read more about Myeloma UK here: https://www.myeloma.org.uk/

Every person that donates £1 or more (and leaves their name on justgiving) will be entered into a draw to win either a signed Sony Michel jersey with COA or an unsigned jersey from the team of their choice. The draw will take place on the Sunday of week two, live on our Facebook page

The Mega League will be made up of four leagues, with the league winners and the two highest scoring, non-champions making up the postseason.

All leagues will be run on Sleeper. The Scoring is pretty much standard other than six point passing touchdowns and -2 for interceptions.

Rosters are pretty much exactly as last year, just no defences this year. It will be a Super Flex league. For those that haven’t played it before, it is basically a second quarterback spot but you can also play a RB/WR/TE if you want to.

It leaves it as QB,Q/W/R/T,RB,RB,WR,WR,TE,Flex,Flex and four bench spots as well as 1 IR spot.

We have reduced the bench spots in order to promote activity in the leagues. It has been a problem in the past and we want to reward active teams.

Leagues will be assigned at random.

This season all drafts will be slow drafts with a four hour clock. Picks will not be timed overnight between 11pm and 8am UK time. All drafts will start at 9am on Saturday 22 August.

I’ll do my best to accommodate everybody’s needs but it may not always be possible. There is a possibility that a fifth league will be added but for now these are it.

One entry per person.

To enter, firstly please like our Facebook page on Twitter.

Then please fill out the following and I will contact you as soon as possible to let you know what league you are in:

I will be in all four leagues as a commissioner. However, I will only be eligible for the postseason in one of them – the Brady Division. If I somehow win the league or win one of the wild card spots with one of the other teams then I will not be eligible for the postseason. It will go to the next place. So either the runner up if I win a league or the next highest scorer if it is a wild card.

All decisions are final and I will be the one reviewing trades etc to make sure there is no collusion etc. Anybody found colluding will be removed from the league and ineligible for the postseason/prizes.

The Postseason

The scoring will remain almost exactly the same but rosters will differ slightly.

The draft will be done in the week after the season before the start of the Wild Card games. It will done by skype/email/facebook/pigeon. We will work that out with the people that make it in.

Rosters will be made up of:

2 team QBs – so instead of drafting Tom Brady, you would draft the New England QBs so you would receive points from any player recognised as a QB from that team.

3 WRs

2 RBs

2 TEs

3 W/R/T

No defences will be used in the postseason.

You can pick just one player per team. So every team will be made up of one player from each team making the playoffs.

If a player is injured then he can be swapped out for a replacement. However, once a player has been dropped then they are unavailable for selection for the rest of the competition.

The postseason rules may be tweaked a little but I will sort that with the entrants at the time.
